Rise

Rise, operated by Rise Vest Technologies Limited, is a digital wealth management service delivered primarily through a mobile app. Rather than offering self-directed trading, Rise builds and manages portfolios on behalf of users, allocating capital across US stocks, US rental real estate and global fixed income assets, all denominated in dollars. Users cannot pick or trade individual securities themselves; assets are vetted by the company and the underlying investments are researched, selected and managed by licensed fund managers and regulated partner entities, while Rise supplies access, portfolio visibility and periodic performance updates.

The product range advertised includes a stocks plan holding a portfolio of roughly 20-30 US growth stocks (high risk, market-dependent returns), a real estate plan investing in rented US buildings (medium risk, stated historical returns of 15% p.a.), fixed income and a Dollar Vault of US-based instruments such as ETFs, REITs and MLPs (both low risk, stated historical returns of 10% p.a.), and a Naira Vault deploying naira funds into money market funds, bonds and institutional credit assets (stated historical returns of 25% p.a.). Rise also credits interest automatically on idle Rise Wallet balances. Real estate and fixed income plans are withdrawable at maturity with a minimum duration of three months, the stocks plan has no lock-up, and withdrawal requests are stated to be processed within 24 hours.

Alongside the consumer app, Rise markets a developer API that lets third parties embed access to its dollar-denominated multi-asset portfolios and portfolio performance views. Its site also references adjacent offerings including an Investment Club, Rise Treasury, AssetBase and Hisa.
