What they told YC

Describe what your company does in 50 characters or less.
A developer tool for debugging and testing APIs.
How long have each of you been working on this? How much of that has been full-time? Please explain.
One founder began Requestly as a side project alongside a full-time job, using that time to learn the use case and assess the market. Both founders now work on it full-time.

Alumni Q&A

How did your company get started? (i.e., How did the founders meet? How did you come up with the idea? How did you decide to be a founder?)
Sachin built a Chrome extension in his spare time to test local JavaScript changes against live production sites while working at a tech company, and it gained traction with other developers as he added features like URL matching, request blocking, and script injection. Sagar, then pursuing a master's degree, reached out and the two met at a co-working space to build a debugging platform together; Sachin left his job to focus on it, and they were accepted into YC's W22 batch.
