Founding story

According to the company, two engineers, Alex and Bob, were dissatisfied with software jobs and wanted to build physical products. They started a motorcycle shop in their backyard and began using 3D printing as a manufacturing method for automotive parts. That work grew into a product development firm staffed with hardware engineers, which applied 3D printing to medical devices, concept vehicles and mechatronics systems for the film industry, and in turn led to the printer business.
