OrganoidSciences (Organoidsciences Ltd., organoidrx.com) is a South Korean biotechnology company founded in 2018 and based in Gyeonggi-do that builds products around organoids — three-dimensional cultured organ-like structures that contain organ-specific cells, organize spatially and reproduce organ-specific functions. The company organizes its work into four platforms: ATORM, an organoid-based regenerative therapeutics platform intended to treat diseases through direct regenerative mechanisms; ODISEI, an organoid-based evaluation solution for new materials and new-modality drugs positioned as an animal-free preclinical testing method in the context of FDA and EMA policies to minimize animal testing; PODOTX, a platform for evaluating sensitivity to immuno-oncology therapies at the individual-patient level; and an Expansion platform covering research products for organoid culture and contract manufacturing of cell therapy products.

The declared application areas span regenerative therapeutics, precision medicine and companion diagnostics, nutraceuticals, research-use-only products, CDMO services, companion-animal care and new drug development. Its disclosed pipeline includes ATORM-C for inflammatory bowel disease (reported at IND application stage), ATORM-S for xerostomia and ATORM-E for infertility (both preclinical). ATORM-C received approval for an advanced regenerative medicine clinical study in Korea in 2022, was certified as an ATMP by the EMA in 2023, and first patient treatment took place in 2023; clinical design work for North America and Europe is supported by named clinical principal investigators and KOLs.
