Oak also appears (alphabetically, as 'Oak') in Greylock's full public portfolio company list alongside other cybersecurity names such as Obsidian Security, Opal Security, Kodem, Dazz, Blockaid, and Apiiro — corroborating that this is a genuine, current Greylock portfolio company and not a different 'Oak' entity.

FOUNDERS: The two named co-founders are Shai Morag (CEO) and Tal Marom (CPO). I was not able to independently verify detailed biographical information (education, prior employers, LinkedIn URLs) for either founder through available sources in this research session — LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and most general web/news search access was blocked or unavailable during this research pass (search engines returned robots.txt disallow errors, Crunchbase and several other sites returned proxy errors, and oak.tech itself could not be directly fetched due to a provenance/permission gate). I therefore cannot confirm speculation that Shai Morag previously led Illusive Networks (an Israeli deception-technology/identity-threat-detection company acquired by Proofpoint in December 2022) — a Wikipedia check on Illusive Networks did NOT list Shai Morag or Tal Marom among its founders or leadership (Illusive's documented founders were Ofer Israeli and Team8, with Shlomo Touboul as CEO from 2015 and Nadav Zafrir as Chairman), so this potential connection should be treated as unconfirmed and is NOT asserted as fact here.
