Instinct Space was founded in 2024 by Alex Pinel Neparidze, Joaquim Dickson, and Ashwin Iyer.

Alex Pinel Neparidze Founder & Co-CEOAlex Pinel Neparidze holds degrees in Space Engineering from UCL and Aerospace Engineering from QMUL. He previously worked in project management at Open Cosmos on the PHISAT-2 and HAMMER Earth observation satellites, and has published research on machine learning applications for detecting Coronal Mass Ejections at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory. He is co-CEO of Instinct.

Joaquim Dickson Founder & CTOJoaquim Dickson studied physics at Imperial College London and space technology at University College London. He contributed to magnetometer work on NASA's IMAP spacecraft through Imperial's Fluxgate Magnetometer Laboratory and to instrument development on ESA's Solar Orbiter spacecraft at UCL's Mullard Space Science Laboratory. He is currently CTO at Instinct.

Ashwin Iyer Founder and co-CEOAshwin Iyer is co-founder and co-CEO of Instinct. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from QMUL and a master's degree in industrial systems, manufacturing and management from the University of Cambridge, with prior research experience on jet engines at Imperial College London and consulting work across venture capital, metalworking, and electronics sectors.
