Platform migration to upgraded Gamefound-powered system

Indiegogo announced that on October 16, 2025 an upgraded platform would go live, migrating all live, InDemand, pre-launch and closed campaigns, replacing flexible funding with fixed funding, and adding Adyen as a payment option alongside Stripe. New campaign launches on the legacy platform were paused after October 9.

Pricing and tipping policy aligned with Gamefound

As part of the acquisition, Indiegogo moved to Gamefound's pricing of a flat 5 percent fee with no additional fees for promotional placements, effective immediately, and adopted Gamefound's policy of passing 100 percent of tips to creators outside the checkout flow.

Indiegogo was acquired by tabletop game crowdfunding platform Gamefound, announced in July 2025. Both platforms continue to operate separately, with Gamefound campaigns also featured on Indiegogo. Indiegogo CEO Julie dePontbriand remains CEO, while Gamefound CEO Marcin Swierkot takes on the role of Group CEO.
