CarbonPoint Solutions (founded in 2011 as Enhanced Energy Group) develops carbon capture technology that concentrates and captures CO2 from reciprocating engines and gas turbines at distributed power system scale, using its patented Semi-Closed Cycle (SCC) and CO2-TSA processes originally derived from U.S. Navy undersea propulsion technology. The company was acquired by Caterpillar Inc. in September 2021.
