CAHill TECH

CAHill TECH is a construction workforce training company that develops aQuiRe and aQuiRe Construction Academy, mobile applications containing hundreds to thousands of short safety and skills training videos for the construction trades. aQuiRe is aimed at front-line workers already employed in the field, while aQuiRe Construction Academy targets people seeking to start a construction career. Both include built-in compliance tracking and a Skill Center content library, and training modules can be reached by pointing a phone camera at an aQuiRe-specific QR code.

The company also produces custom content for individual US construction companies and organizations. The stated positioning is that trained crews reduce accidents, fuel use and downtime, and help contractors demonstrate low risk to insurance carriers.

The aQuiRe Construction Academy operates as a training-to-placement program; press coverage describes free training supported by a million-dollar grant, with wraparound support such as childcare and transportation, expert-led certifications including forklift and aerial lift training, and connections to mentorship and apprenticeship opportunities. Founding story

Carley Hill grew up around a family-owned road and bridge construction company and spent roughly 15 years working in the family concrete business, holding roles spanning safety, logistics and advocacy for infrastructure funding. Recognizing that retiring baby boomers were leaving construction companies unable to attract and train replacements, she founded CaHill Resources in 2017 and created CAHill TECH in 2019 to document industry knowledge as short videos delivered through mobile apps.

Business model

CAHill TECH sells subscription-style access to its aQuiRe training and compliance applications to construction companies and organizations, and additionally produces custom training content on request. The aQuiRe Construction Academy delivers cohort-based training, in at least one case funded by grant money so that participation is free to trainees, with job placement into industry employers.

Traction

By September 2024 the aQuiRe Construction Academy had graduated more than 200 participants, with a goal of training over 300 people, focused in part on women and refugees. Graduates were placed on the $2.2 billion Buffalo Bills stadium project. At the time of the 43North 2022 pitch the company reported 100% client retention and plans to hire six employees. Latest developments

In April 2025 CAHill and its employees attended the topping-out ceremony for the Buffalo Bills' $2.2 billion stadium in Orchard Park. In November 2025 Merlo America published a profile of Carley Hill describing over 400% growth across CaHill Resources and CAHill TECH, her use of a Merlo Roto 50.35 telehandler, partnerships with Merlo America and Wood's CRW, and plans to expand her equipment fleet for future megaprojects.
