Founding story

Founder and CEO Pat Brennan opened a custom automotive shop after high school and later studied robotic systems mechanical engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he started a 3D printing and prototyping service from his dorm room. During the Covid-19 shutdowns he taught himself microcontroller programming, autonomous systems, machining, welding, manufacturing and business, and concluded that many people capable of engineering lacked experience, funding and direction. He founded Cadly, Inc. to address the cost and barriers to entry he saw in engineering and manufacturing.
