Blind Insight

Blind Insight offers an "encryption-in-use" data platform that lets organizations run queries, analytics, machine learning and LLM inference directly against encrypted records, so that data is never decrypted on the company's infrastructure or inside a model. Data is encrypted at the source — on the customer's machine, in their pipeline, or at the SDK boundary — and Blind Insight states it holds no encryption keys; results return encrypted and are decrypted only where the customer's keys reside. Keys are derived from a seed held by the customer.

The platform is built around real-time searchable encryption supporting equality, range, aggregate (sum, avg, count, min, max) and fuzzy-match operations on encrypted fields, plus field-level access grants checked at every query and decrypt, proxy-backed key segregation for cross-border data residency, and an immutable cryptographically signed audit trail of every query, grant and decrypt. Two product layers sit on top: Blind(L)LM, which translates prompts into encrypted queries or model runs, assigns an agent the minimum key set and revokes access at session end; and BlindML, which trains Naive Bayes, decision tree and logistic regression models on aggregate counts derived from encrypted data and supports bring-your-own scikit-learn models.

The company positions the platform as database-agnostic, wrapping existing stacks such as PostgreSQL and Snowflake without migration or re-architecture, and lists integrations spanning cloud platforms, data warehouses, BI tools, healthcare standards (Epic, HL7 FHIR) and financial systems. It cites SOC 2 Type 2 certification and alignment with DORA Article 9(2), GDPR, HIPAA and FIPS 140-3 (AES-GCM-256, NIST-validated).
