Bitte (bitte.ai) develops infrastructure for "Open Agents" — APIs that a hosted runtime calls to perform tasks on behalf of users. Agents receive instructions, process on-chain and off-chain data, and execute transactions across multiple blockchain networks. Each agent is defined with the OpenAPI Specification, which the company presents as a machine-readable interface that standardizes how agents expose capabilities and communicate with the rest of the system.

The Bitte Runtime is described as the core system coordinating execution of decentralized tasks across the Bitte Protocol, sitting between user requests, agents and blockchain networks. It handles routing of tasks to the appropriate agent, task orchestration, data aggregation, and communication between agents, tools and networks, with an emphasis on multi-step transactions spanning different chains, APIs and smart contracts.

On the developer-facing side, Bitte publishes documentation covering agent building, an agent manifest, an embeddable chat component, a widget component, agent deployment, MCP, the make-agent tool, and chain-specific guides for Sui, Solana and Coinbase Wallet agents. Its npm package @bitte-ai/chat provides two React components — BitteAiChat, a full-page chat interface, and BitteWidgetChat, a floating overlay widget — which support NEAR (via NEAR Wallet Selector or a direct near-api-js account) and EVM (via WalletConnect/wagmi hooks) so users can sign smart-contract interactions and transactions from within the chat. Integration requires a Bitte API key and a server-side proxy route to the Bitte API; theming, custom components and a local-agent mode are configurable via props.
