Yudai Fujita was born in 1999 in Kagawa Prefecture and completed a graduate degree in architecture at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Engineering, where he researched earthquakes with an interest in disaster prevention. He competed in track and field (sprints) from middle school through graduate school, reaching national competitions in high school and university.
