He is the Mencoff Family Endowed University Professor of Medical Science and a tenured Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Brown University, where he founded and led the Legorreta Cancer Center and the Joint Program in Cancer Biology and now serves as Director Emeritus of the Cancer Center.
