Tom Lavin is a co-founder and Partner of New Science Ventures. Before NSV, he spent over 30 years in finance and investment banking, including roles as head of real estate investment banking at First Boston and Smith Barney and head of commercial mortgage lending at MetLife, with experience in private and public equity and debt transactions, M&A, and financial restructurings. He holds an A.B. in Government from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
