About
Ross Laser is the Co-Founder and President of Magnetar, which he helped launch in 2005 and grow from about $1 billion to more than $17 billion, serving as Chair of the Executive Committee and overseeing firmwide management, talent acquisition, and capital formation. He previously was President and Managing Partner of Glenwood Capital Investments, a fund of funds manager he helped scale before leading its sale to Man Group, and founded Marin Capital, a convertible arbitrage manager. He began his career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1985 and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
