Ronald DePinho, M.D., is a professor in the Department of Cancer Biology and Genomic Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he previously served as president. He earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and has also been a professor at Harvard Medical School. His cancer research centers on telomere dysfunction and tumor suppression, and he founded the Unite to Prevent Cancer initiative.
