Philip Kneis trained as a material scientist, earning a bachelor's and MSc in process engineering at ETH, where he joined a foodtech spin-off and later led ETH Juniors, a tech consultancy and startup hub. He previously worked as a process engineer at Koa Switzerland, scaling up manufacturing in Africa. As an investment manager, he focuses on frontier tech and techbio at the intersection of engineering, biology, and physics, including neuromorphic hardware and AI-enabled synthetic biology.
