He began his finance career at Price Waterhouse, joined Close Brothers Group in 1996 to help build Close Venture Management (growing it to ~£130M under management), and led investments in over 20 ventures before co-founding Bestport in 2005 with James Stoddart. He holds a BSc (Econ) from LSE and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
