About
Motti Sigel is Managing Director of MassChallenge Israel, one of the country's largest startup accelerators, and leads The Foundry, a national initiative focused on dual-use technology, robotics, and physical AI. He founded Salamander Energy, an engineering and economic consultancy that facilitated the procurement of over 53 BCM of natural gas for Israel's industrial, academic, and security sectors, and raised $40M in capital for a national gas distribution license. Earlier, Sigel served as founding Dean of Israel's first Diploma Energy Engineering faculty in partnership with Noble Energy and Ruppin Academic Center, and advised the Natural Gas Authority on transmission infrastructure.
