Martin Palotai joined Alphemy Capital in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, with over 15 years of experience in operations, risk management, and compliance, and a focus on digital assets since 2017 that included setting up a digital-asset fund at a prior hedge fund. He previously worked as Chief Compliance Officer at a Geneva-based hedge fund, as senior advisor to a Geneva-based technology venture capital firm, and earlier at Reuters in financial crime and market surveillance. He holds a Master's degree from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and a BA from the University of Leeds, and is a Certified Financial Risk Manager and Chartered Fellow of CISI.
