Mark Bakken is founder and managing partner of HealthX Ventures, which he established in 2015 and has grown to 36 portfolio companies with over $4.3 billion in aggregate market value. A serial entrepreneur with nearly a dozen exits, he previously founded and sold three companies, including Nordic Consulting, which he built from inception to $130 million in revenue in under five years before its sale for over $400 million. Earlier in his career, he served on partner advisory councils for Microsoft, Novell, and Sun Microsystems, and founded Goliath Networks and Bedrock, both recognized by major technology companies for their business models.
