About

Jim Quismorio is the principal and CEO of Alto Partners. He started as an M&A banker at Lehman Brothers in 1994 and became a Managing Director in 2006 overseeing corporate M&A and strategy in the Asia Executive Office, and was on the management committee involved in the 2008 sale of Lehman Brothers' international businesses to Nomura. After leaving the industry in 2012, he founded the Alto Partners family office with former executives from TPG, KKR and Northstar. He holds a BS from the Wharton School and a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, studied economics at Waseda in Japan, and is proficient in Japanese.
