Hossam Shafick joined Silicon Badia in 2022 as a Senior Associate and was later promoted to Principal, where he leads the fund's presence in Egypt and North Africa. He started his career in investment banking, advising on M&A transactions exceeding $1 billion involving companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, Almarai, Marcyrl Pharmaceuticals, DPI, and Amethis. He earned an MSc in Fintech, Risk, and Investment Analysis and a BSc in Accounting and Finance, both from the University of Sussex, UK.
