Gemma Lenowitz is Program Director of Social Enterprise at Samvid Ventures, where she supports founders using technology to advance economic mobility for low- and moderate-income Americans. She previously sourced and managed a portfolio of grant investments at Two Sigma and the Overdeck Family Foundation, a venture philanthropy focused on education, and earlier held founding roles as a STEM teacher and administrator at a middle school and high school in Brooklyn. She earned a degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Teaching from Fordham University.
