Gal Shmueli served 26 years in the IDF's technology Unit 81, founding the cyber technology program at the IDI and IDF and serving 15 years as CTO for Cyber Technologies at the IDI, reaching the rank of Colonel and managing 700 engineers across numerous cyber R&D projects. After retiring from the military in 2016, he worked in Israel's tech ecosystem as an entrepreneur, advisor, and CTO for companies in machine learning, cyber, and cloud. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
