Eric Feng is an American software engineer, business executive, and investor. He began his career at Trilogy Software, where he cofounded Uberworks.com, later acquired by Network Commerce in 2000, and then held leadership roles at Microsoft Research, working with the Microsoft China research lab in Beijing. In Beijing he cofounded and served as CEO of the online video startup Mojiti, which Hulu acquired in 2007, after which he became Hulu's founding CTO and head of product. He joined Kleiner Perkins in 2010, initially focusing on sustainability and digital media and serving as chief of staff to partner Al Gore, before incubating and working at portfolio companies including Erly, Airtime Media, and Flipboard, where he was CTO. Feng rejoined Kleiner Perkins in 2015 as a general partner focused on early-stage consumer investing, leading deals such as Handshake and involvement in Hollar and BorderX Lab, and later started the e-commerce platform Packagd. He left Kleiner Perkins in 2018 and went on to lead e-commerce incubations at Facebook. He is now a Co-General Partner at Gold House Ventures, a multi-stage fund backing Asian and Pacific Islander-founded startups.
