Douglas Berman is Co-President of H.I.G. Capital, which he joined in 1996 and where he has been an Executive Managing Director since 2007. Earlier in his tenure he led the acquisition of more than 40 businesses for the firm. Before H.I.G., he worked as a consultant at Bain & Company. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
