David Kirk

About

David Kirk previously served as chief scientist and vice president of architecture and research at Nvidia, and now works as an independent consultant. His work has spanned graphics hardware and graphics algorithm research, with a more recent focus on computer science education, parallel programming, robotics, and artificial intelligence. He holds a PhD in computer science from the California Institute of Technology, is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and received the IEEE Seymour Cray award.
