He first joined the firm as a research analyst in 1992, left in 1994 to earn his MBA, and worked at State Street Research & Management and MFS Investment Management before returning in 2002, later leading research for the firm's global industrials sector team. He holds a BSBA in finance from the University of Florida and an MBA from UVA's Darden School of Business, and is a CFA charterholder.
