He has more than 20 years of experience in advanced energy technology across product development, industrial R&D, and academic research. Betts holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and an MBA from George Washington University, with expertise in thermal systems, energy economics, power generation, and HVAC.
