Christopher Murphy joined Valor Equity Partners in 2011 and leads the firm's research function. An economist with over 20 years of experience in strategy, business, and market research, he was previously part of the founding team at Pipal Research Corporation, which was sold to a unit of Standard & Poor's in 2010, and spent more than five years at McKinsey & Company. He holds a Master of Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School and degrees in economics from Marquette University.
