Chris Freund founded Mekong Capital in 2001 after working as Templeton's first employee in Vietnam and later as a portfolio manager in Singapore. He serves as Deal Partner on many investments, sits on several investee boards and Mekong's Investment Recommendation and Management Committees, and developed the Vision Driven Investing framework. He also co-founded VietnamWorks and authored the book Crab Hotpot.
