April Underwood is an operator and investor who served as Slack's first Chief Product Officer, leading Product and Platform from 2015 to 2019. Earlier she spent five years at Twitter as Director of Product and Director of Business Development, and held product, partnerships, and engineering roles at Google, Climate Corporation, Travelocity, and Intel. She founded Nearby, co-founded the investing collective #ANGELS, and holds an MBA from UC Berkeley (Haas) and a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
