Investment thesis
The firm evolved from the Red de Angeles Inversionistas (Angel Investor Network) created within Capitalia in 2011 with support from the IDB. It has facilitated more than 80 startup investments and mobilized around $20 million, in addition to running training programs for entrepreneurs, investors, and corporates and designing, advising, and administering various investment and co-investment vehicles and funds. It believes the Latin American tech and entrepreneurship ecosystem has significant room to grow and to generate widespread benefit across the continent.
