Investment thesis
The Momentum Accelerator combines UQ's iLab and Momentum programs to support UQ-affiliated founders (students, staff, alumni) across all industries. The iLab track targets early-stage, pre- or early-revenue ventures near product-readiness, offering a $15,000 SAFE note from UniQuest, help refining value propositions, go-to-market strategy, and readiness for grants and angel funding. The Momentum track, funded by the Queensland Venture Capital Development Fund, serves later-stage, in-market technology startups with revenue or traction, with one venture eligible for a $100,000 UniQuest investment. Over 15 weeks, participants receive structured sessions, mentorship, investor readiness support, co-working space, and pitch showcase events.
