Investment thesis
TechRise supports early-stage founders across Chicagoland, ensuring access to capital, networks, and knowledge at the earliest stages. Originally a livestream pitch competition launched in 2021, it has grown into an in-person experience designed to deepen community engagement. As a flagship program of P33 and part of its Big Bets vision, TechRise connects emerging talent with capital and the broader innovation ecosystem, with emphasis on growth industries such as AI and quantum technology. It backs founders across industries, business models, and geographies through competitions that award non-dilutive capital, mentorship, and visibility, positioning itself as a long-term platform for founder growth and regional innovation.
