Co-founder of Streamr with a decade of experience building scalable real-time data infrastructure and tools, focused on decentralization of applications and data. Previously CTO at two algorithmic trading companies (co-founding one) and CEO of a startup building cloud-based IoT data infrastructure.
Riku Asikainen began his entrepreneurial career in 1988 as one of Europe's early e-commerce entrepreneurs, founding and selling companies in Finland and France. He later became one of Finland's first professional angel investors and helped develop the regional startup ecosystem through angel networks and the Startup Sauna Accelerator. He also ran the book agency Lukiolaisten Kirjakauppa, which he started in 1992, for roughly a decade.
