Ben Macfarland is CEO and co-founder of SROA, with 18 years focused on acquiring, developing, financing, and managing owner-operated real estate including self-storage, parking, student housing, and senior living. He holds a BS in Real Estate from Florida State University and an MBA in Finance from American University.

Alex Yablonovich analyzes credit opportunities for SROA, sourcing senior bridge loans, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity for the firm's credit strategy. He previously spent six years as a VP in Citi's Commercial Real Estate Finance department.

Alfred Sinkonde is CFO of SROA, responsible for property and fund accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting. He previously held roles at Beacon Ridge Capital Management, HIG Capital, and Cerberus Capital Management, and began his career at PwC.

Alina Pesenson serves as General Counsel overseeing legal and compliance matters. She spent most of her career at Goodwin Procter representing private investment fund sponsors and was previously Associate General Counsel at Fairstead.

Beau Raich oversees development and construction initiatives including site selection, underwriting, and entitlements. He previously served as VP and Corporate Counsel at Two Roads Development and as General Counsel at SROA.

Claudia Morais, a registered Paralegal who joined SROA in 2014, manages real estate transactions, due diligence, and corporate records, and assists with investor management. She previously worked at a title company and as a residential real estate agent.

Colt Jenkins analyzes and underwrites new acquisitions for SROA, which he joined in 2016. He previously performed project analyses at Rybovich Boat Company and is a licensed CPA in Florida.

David Kohlway leads SROA's technology strategy, operations, cybersecurity, application development, and data intelligence. He brings over three decades of technology leadership, most recently as VP of IT at TBC Corporation, and earlier held roles at HP Enterprise Services and Electronic Data Systems.

Farah Abrahim identifies growth opportunities to expand SROA's infrastructure portfolio through cell towers, wireless leases, solar projects, billboards, and EV networks. She previously spent over 10 years as a Site Development Project Manager at SBA Communications Corp.

Jackie Penny manages executive office support and SROA's investor relations, maintaining communication with investors. She previously worked as Marketing and Special Events Coordinator at Ultramax Sports.

James Curland handles product development and special projects to grow the SROA platform. He was previously an Associate at Winter Properties and an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Jamie O'Connor leads SROA's HR strategy and operations including talent management, compensation, and payroll. She was previously Director of HR at Dart Container Sales Company.

Kenneth Speegle oversees SROA's daily operations, technology integration, and operational improvements. He previously spent 18 years at Extra Space Storage, most recently as SVP of Operations, and held a senior role at Storage USA.

Lauren Weiss oversees SROA's property and fund-level accounting, accounts payable, financial reporting, insurance, and property tax functions. She previously spent eight years as VP of Accounting at The Related Companies in New York.

Melissa Cartagena leads SROA's digital marketing, website experience, brand development, and eCommerce strategy. She previously held senior roles at AutoNation, Greystar, and Jarden Consumer Solutions.

Owen Holm leads investor relations and capital raising at SROA and has 10 years of investment management experience across private and public markets. He previously served as Director of Marketing & Investor Relations at Crescendo Real Estate Advisors, spent five years at Kildonan Castle Asset Management, and began his career as a Research Associate at Coleman Research Group.

Bob Buffett is President of SROA, overseeing day-to-day operations and the company's business plan. He previously served 11 years as CFO of Stor-All Storage and is a longtime licensed CPA in Florida who began his career at Arthur Andersen.

Wallace Cascio sources investment opportunities for SROA Capital and has a background in real estate acquisitions, asset management, and leasing. He holds a BA from the University of Florida and is a licensed Florida real estate agent.
