Investment thesis
SNBX operates as El Salvador's first startup accelerator, delivering an acceleration and growth program aimed at helping Salvadoran startups scale. With support from BID Lab and in partnership with Socialab Chile, it applies a Lean Startup methodology through mentorship, group work, peer learning sessions, pitch days and a Demo Day where startups present to investors and can win cash prizes ranging from $4,000 to $10,000. Rather than charging upfront fees, SNBX takes a success fee: 10% of sales above $50,000 within 12 months, and 5% of capital raised over 36 months when the investor introduction was made through SNBX. It focuses on pushing startups toward the next stage of private financing.
