Investment thesis
SNBX runs an acceleration program for early-stage Salvadoran startups, applying a Lean Startup methodology inspired by the Chilean innovation ecosystem. Its services include monthly online mentoring in small startup groups, bi-monthly peer sessions on non-technical founder challenges, pitch days with external juries, and a Demo Day held roughly every six months where startups pitch to investors and winners receive cash prizes of $4,000 to $10,000. The accelerator also connects startups with companies and investors to advance them toward private financing. There are no upfront fees; instead it charges a 10% fee on sales above $50,000 within 12 months and a 5% fee on capital raised through SNBX intros within 36 months.
