David Armstrong is an entrepreneur with nearly three decades of experience founding and operating companies. He has grown businesses into multi-million dollar, multi-location operations across several industries and has acquired, integrated, and sold companies.

Greg Rowin, D.O., is an otolaryngologist at Valley Ears, Nose and Throat, Incorporated, where he has practiced for about 25 years and previously served as managing partner of the nine-physician practice. He holds hospital affiliations in the Rio Grande Valley and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology, with memberships in several medical associations. He earned a Bachelor of Science from St. Edward's University in Austin and a Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, and completed his residency in Detroit, Michigan.

John F. Martin holds an MBA, has taught university finance and marketing, and worked over 25 years as a financial consultant in south Texas. He founded The Valley Land Fund in 1987 and created its biennial Wildlife Photo Contest, and later established Images for Conservation Fund in 2003 to promote nature photo tourism on private lands. He has published 11 books on conservation photography and focuses on conservation, education, and nature photography efforts in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.

Serves as Director for the Center for Innovation and Commercialization at UTRGV's College of Business and Entrepreneurship and helped found RGVAN.

Mark Kroll is a professor of entrepreneurship at UT Rio Grande Valley's Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship, where he previously served as Dean. Earlier roles include Dean and professor of management at the University of Texas at Brownsville, department head and endowed professor at Louisiana Tech University, and department head at the University of Texas at Tyler, along with visiting appointments in Mexico, Vietnam, and Singapore. He holds a doctorate in business administration from Mississippi State University and a BBA in finance and an MBA from Sam Houston State University, with research focused on corporate governance and top management teams in entrepreneurial firms.
