Raith

William Landis co-founded Raith Capital Partners in 2012, where he is a Managing Partner overseeing day-to-day operations and serving on multiple firm committees. He previously was Chief Investment Officer at Rialto Capital Management and a Managing Director in the commercial real estate group at Deutsche Bank (successor to Bankers Trust), earlier working in fixed income institutional sales at Smith Barney and Prudential Securities. He holds a BA from Drew University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Alex Castro joined Raith in 2013 as a Principal on the asset management team, where he handles due diligence, underwriting, and closing of non-performing loans and other value-added investments, and oversees daily operations of the firm's real estate portfolio. He previously worked as a commercial real estate analyst at ABR Partners, a senior loan officer at Continental Mortgage Corporation, and a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Standard Bank. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Miami and a Master's in Real Estate Finance & Investments from New York University.

Matt Fisher joined Raith in 2021 as an associate on the acquisitions team, where he evaluates equity and debt opportunities across the firm's investment vehicles. Before Raith, he spent four years as an analyst and then associate in J.P. Morgan's Real Estate Americas Group, working on mezzanine debt originations and preferred equity investments across multifamily, retail, office, and industrial real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Robert Jackson joined Raith in 2021 and serves as a Principal on the asset management team, bringing over 19 years of experience in construction and building science. He previously was Vice President of the Equity Markets Group at Nova Group GBC, where he oversaw acquisition due diligence services and served on the firm's ESG committee, and earlier worked as a building envelope consultant and construction defect expert witness at Morrison Hershfield. He holds BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Portland State University, a certificate in Sustainable Finance and ESG Investing from NYU Stern, and an MBA from Columbia University.

Blake Menin joined Raith in 2026 as an Analyst on the Acquisitions team. He previously interned at Waterton Residential and Basis Industrial. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University.

Bradford Koenitzer joined Raith as an Associate in 2025, working across the acquisitions and asset management teams. He previously was a management consultant at Washington Business Dynamics, where he built the firm's international development practice on U.S. Government-funded infrastructure projects in West Africa and South Asia, and began his career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Williams College and an M.S. in Real Estate from NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Brendan Fenner joined Raith in 2025 as an Associate on the Acquisitions team. He previously worked as an Analyst and Associate at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in New York City on the Global Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities team, where he traded securities and analyzed investments in the commercial mortgage-backed securities market. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Quantitative Business Analytics from Ohio University.

Brenton Shelby joined Raith as an associate in 2025. He previously worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing accounting and assurance services to clients in the private credit, hedge fund, and private equity sectors. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Brian Lin joined Raith in 2026 as an Analyst on the Asset Management team. He previously interned at AXA Investment Managers and Tishman Speyer, working in acquisitions and asset management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.

Carly Bosch joined Raith in 2025 as a Senior Compliance Associate. She previously worked as a Legal & Compliance Associate at Centerbridge Partners, focusing on trade review, beneficial ownership filings, counterparty credit risk, broker relationships, and KYC/AML, and earlier interned on the Mission team at JDRF International. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Chris Perkin joined Raith Capital Partners in 2024 as Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations, bringing more than two decades of experience in business development, strategy, and investor relations within investment management. He previously held Managing Director roles at NexPoint Advisors and at Loomis, Sayles & Co., where he headed North American business development, and earlier worked at Putnam Investments and Appleton Partners. He holds a BA from Hobart & William Smith Colleges and an MBA from Boston University's Questrom School of Business.

Devon Riley joined Raith in 2020 and works on the acquisitions and asset management team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College in 2020 and previously interned in the Asset Management group at Brookfield Properties.

Emma D’Amico joined Raith in 2023 as an associate on the compliance team. She holds bachelor's degrees in Business and in Media and Communications, as well as a Master's in Finance, all from Drew University.

Gus Coutis joined Raith in 2018 and serves as the firm's Controller, bringing more than five years of experience in public accounting. He has provided accounting and assurance services to both public and private companies in the real estate sector and other industries. He holds a BS in Finance from Long Island University and an MS in Accounting from Baruch College, and is a licensed CPA in New York.

James Egan joined Raith in 2014 as a senior advisor and member of the asset management team, with over twenty-five years of experience in distressed debt, real estate work-out, acquisition, development, asset management, financing and structuring of equity/joint venture relationships. He previously served as Director at Rialto Capital Management, overseeing distressed loans, and spent more than 16 years as a Managing Director and Group Head in Deutsche Bank's Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Earlier he was Director of Real Estate Development at Linclay Corporation and Vice President of Chemical Realty Corporation, and he holds a BBA in accounting and finance from Hofstra University.

James Gruseke joined Raith in 2022 as a Vice President, working with the asset management team. He previously interned at Savanna in acquisitions and asset management, and was on the investments team at BedRock Real Estate Partners focusing on multifamily development projects. He holds a BA in Economics from Williams College and an MBA in Real Estate from Columbia Business School.

Jessica Pasik joined Raith in 2025 as an Associate on the acquisitions team. She previously worked as a real estate Investments Associate at Brookfield Asset Management, underwriting corporate and asset-level acquisitions, and earlier as an Investment Analyst at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, covering acquisitions and asset management across office, industrial, retail, multifamily, storage, student housing, and senior housing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Justin Penny joined Raith in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer and has over sixteen years of experience in financial services, including eleven years in finance and accounting roles at SEC-registered investment advisors in the private equity real estate sector. Before Raith, he served as Controller of Related Fund Management, the investment advisor affiliate of The Related Companies, where he oversaw daily operations and financial reporting for the firm's investment funds. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University at Albany.

Margot Luria joined Raith in 2024 as an analyst on the acquisitions team. She previously interned at Boyd Watterson Asset Management and in the Multifamily Capital Group at Wells Fargo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Dartmouth College.

Michael Leary joined Raith in 2025 as an analyst on the acquisitions team. He previously worked as an analyst in Ares Management's Real Estate Equity Group on industrial acquisition and development, and earlier in Wells Fargo's Real Estate Banking Group. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Michele Gross joined Raith in 2012 to oversee office and accounting administration, human resources, and infrastructure support, and now serves as Chief Administrative Officer responsible for operations, HR, and billing functions. She is also part of the compliance team, working on implementation of the firm's policies and procedures. Before Raith, she held a similar role at Rialto Capital, and she studied at Rollins College before earning an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida.

Orlaith Murphy joined Raith in 2022 as Vice President - Finance. She previously worked as a senior finance associate at Goldman Sachs, handling the firm's consolidated financial statements filed with the SEC as well as fund accounting, operations, and reporting in the alternative investment funds group, and earlier audited private equity and hedge fund clients at Deloitte. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Accounting from University College Dublin and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Patrick Crookenden joined Raith in 2023 as an analyst on the acquisitions team, having previously interned at the firm during the summer of 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University, earned in 2023.

Ralston Johnson joined Raith in 2026 as an Associate on the Asset Management team. He was previously an Investment Analyst at Selig Enterprises in Atlanta, where he worked on asset management for the institutional portfolio and underwrote acquisitions across the Southeast, spanning office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and multifamily assets. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.

Rich Gunthel, Jr joined Raith in 2015 as a Managing Director and has over 24 years of finance and accounting experience across fixed income, CMBS, and commercial real estate. Before Raith, he served as CFO for a privately held commercial real estate developer, handling acquisition due diligence, risk management, accounting, and financial reporting, and earlier co-developed a certified ambulatory surgery center. He holds a BS in Economics with a Finance concentration from the Wharton School and an MBA in Finance from Duke University.

Sahil Amin is a Managing Director on the acquisitions team at Raith, which he joined in 2021, where he originates and executes equity and debt opportunities across the firm's investment vehicles. He was previously a Vice President in the investments team at CIM Group, where he originated and underwrote over $900m in equity and debt investments, and earlier worked as an Associate at Macquarie Capital focusing on transportation infrastructure and PPP underwriting. He holds a BS in Finance and Economics from NYU's Stern School of Business and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Sandra Forman joined Raith Capital Partners in 2022 as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, following roughly two decades in senior legal and compliance roles in investment management. She previously served as Chief Compliance Officer of Stone Point Credit, held compliance and counsel roles at NorthStar Asset Management and Colony Capital, and was General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Harris & Harris Group. Earlier she worked as an associate at Skadden Arps and senior counsel at Proskauer, and holds a J.D. from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. from New York University.

Shalini Stockmans previously worked as a DataOps Engineer at Virtus Real Estate Capital, where she built and managed data infrastructure and worked on integrating AI and automation across the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
