Jeffrey Karp is an Endowed Chair at Mass General Brigham and Professor at Harvard Medical School with affiliate faculty status at MIT. His research in biomaterials and biomedical innovation has led to the co-founding of 14 companies, more than 100 patents, and FDA-approved medical devices including a sutureless nerve repair system inspired by natural structures. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, author of the book LIT: Life Ignition Tools, and a contributor to Psychology Today.
