Andy Leach joined NVM in 2013 and invests across the North West, sitting on the boards of Smart Payment Technologies and Inprova. He led the musicMagpie exit on AIM in 2021, trained as a Chartered Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand, and has over 32 years in North West private equity.

Charlie Pidgeon joined NVM in 2012 and is an Investment Partner responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments in London and the South East. He holds a first-class degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in 2009, and later worked in PwC Corporate Finance advising founders and shareholders.

David Rolfe is an Investment Partner at NVM Private Equity, joining the firm's Reading office in 2012 and responsible for investment activity across the South and South West, including originating and transacting deals and managing the regional portfolio. Before NVM, he spent 15 years at PwC, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and later serving as a Director leading corporate finance deal activity in the Thames Valley and South East. He has held board roles at several portfolio companies and led the investment in and exit of Pareto Facilities Management.

James Arrowsmith joined NVM over twenty years ago and covers the Midlands region, sourcing new investments and working with existing portfolio companies. He led the sale of Lineup Systems (an 8.1x return) and sits on the boards of Dale Systems, Trust Systems and Chemigraphic. Previously he spent ten years at 3i and five years in HSBC's corporate finance team.

Investment Partner and COO at NVM, responsible for sourcing and executing investments across the UK and managing several portfolio companies at board level. Joined NVM in 2004 after qualifying as an ACA chartered accountant with KPMG, having studied at Durham University.

Friðrik Friðriksson is a Partner at NVM Private Equity with 36 years of private equity experience, 30 of which have focused on the North West of England. He previously served as CEO of North West Business Finance, which managed the £185m North West Fund, was a Director at LDC in Manchester overseeing its Northern investment portfolio, and established Montagu Capital, a sister company to Montagu Private Equity investing in UK businesses valued under £50m; his earlier career included ten years in 3i's Manchester office. He represents NVM on the boards of YorkTest, Secure Retail, and Thyson Technology, and formerly sat on the boards of Entertainment Magpie until its April 2021 flotation and Mobius Networks until its July 2022 sale to Wireless Logic.

A Chartered Accountant (qualified 2009) with a first-class Economics degree from the University of Nottingham and 15 years of UK and international corporate transaction experience at PwC, Rickitt Mitchell and Mercia. Based in Manchester, he sources and executes NVM investments of £5–£15m in North West businesses.

Investment Director based in NVM's Manchester office, responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing transactions with high-growth businesses across the North and supporting portfolio companies during the hold period. He joined NVM in 2019, has worked on six regional deals including Secure Retail and MRO+, and sits on the boards of YorkTest and Easby. He studied chemistry at the University of Nottingham and trained as a chartered accountant at PwC, spending four years in their M&A team.

Katy Horrocks is a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at August Equity who works as a fractional marketing director for small and medium-sized enterprises, including businesses backed by private equity and venture capital. She has held senior marketing management roles for fifteen years, the most recent five as a freelance marketing director. Her areas of focus include marketing strategy, investor relations, business development, marketing communications, PR, and campaign management.

Laura Miller is Managing Director of Investor Relations at Advantage Partners. Her areas of focus include fundraising, investor relations, and Japanese-English translation and interpretation, with a background in international relations.

Simon John is NVM's CFO, CCO and Compliance Officer, responsible for the firm's finance function including reporting, internal control, operations and fundraising. He holds a Masters in Physics from the University of Nottingham, is an ICAEW chartered accountant, and previously worked at The Sage Group and PwC before joining NVM in 2016.

Michael Sparring is a chartered accountant with over 15 years of commercial experience across corporate finance, financial control and reporting, audit, and capital markets communications. He serves as Partner, CFO, and CCO at NVM Private Equity LLP, a firm that provides private equity finance for management buy-outs and growth capital, and holds an Investor Director role at Arnlea Systems.
