Investment thesis
CapSek invests in growth companies at the transition from startup to scaleup, typically as they raise expansion capital of SEK 10-30 million (an A-round) once the business model is proven. It targets Sweden's growth regions outside Stockholm, leveraging a broad network of local business angels, institutions, specialists and industry contacts. A recurring theme is companies driven by the digitalization of society, especially SaaS, IoT, computer gaming and AI/ML. Sustainability is central: target companies must meet at least one of the UN's global sustainability goals. The firm works closely with portfolio companies while preserving their independence and entrepreneurial spirit.
