Investment thesis
Nordron makes angel investments, taking 0.5-5% equity, in startups raising their first angel round. It looks for compassionate, ethical teams building businesses that generate value and improve lives, with a clearly defined customer pain point and a solution 10x better than competitors. Preferred companies target a small beachhead vertical where they can reach a monopoly position, have an internationally scalable model applicable to other verticals, and a credible reason to be the last mover in their industry. Founders should welcome critique, and have invested their own money and time at only subsistence-level salaries.
