Investment thesis
Montis Capital is a Polish venture capital fund backing companies with strong teams, scalable business models and already market-validated products. It concentrates on two areas: Industry 4.0 — encompassing robotics, artificial intelligence, IoT, big data and deep tech — and Life Science, spanning biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedical and life-systems technologies, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, food processing and environmental and biomedical devices. The fund targets Series A and later rounds, writing tickets of EUR 1.5M to 5M for minority stakes of 10% to 49%, and seeks a minimum five-times cash-on-cash return over a five-to-seven-year horizon. It is backed by the Polish Development Fund and operates as a registered alternative investment company.
