Miller Value Partners

Bill Miller IV serves as Chief Investment Officer of Miller Value Partners and portfolio manager for the Miller Value Funds. He previously worked at Legg Mason Capital Management starting in 2008, covering the specialty finance and consumer sectors with an emphasis on high-yielding securities, and earlier worked as an analyst at McKinsey & Company. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and an economics degree from Tufts University, and earned his CFA in 2011 and CMT in 2018.

Chris Anderson joined Miller Value Partners in July 2022 as Chief Compliance Officer. He previously spent 10 years at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General's Health Prosecution and Litigation Division, serving most recently as Assistant Attorney General and handling healthcare fraud and regulatory matters. He holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, and is admitted to the Maryland and New York State Bars.

Dan Lysik, CFA, authored the Deep Value Select quarterly strategy letter for Miller Value Partners, indicating a portfolio management/investment role for the strategy.

Jack Metzger joined Miller Value Partners in 2022, where he works on sourcing and researching new investment opportunities and supports the firm's marketing efforts. Before that, he worked in Investment Operations at Cambridge Associates from 2018 to 2022. He holds the CFA charter and earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Finance major and Energy Specialization from Tulane University.

Justin Farrell joined Miller Value Partners in 2022 following more than two decades in senior operational roles at alternative asset managers. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the credit strategy at Reverence Capital, and held comparable roles at Whitebox Advisors and MKP Capital Management, overseeing functions such as operations, accounting/audit, compliance, IT, and investor relations. He holds a B.S. in Business Economics from the State University of New York at Cortland.
