Investment thesis
MB Venture Partners invests primarily in medical device startups at all stages of development, with a particular interest in product solutions for musculoskeletal disease. The firm provides both capital and strategic direction to life science companies. Several of its funded startups have been acquired by major medical device companies including Johnson and Johnson, Medtronic, Smith + Nephew, Zimmer Biomet, and Wright Medical (now part of Stryker). MBVP has also been the largest sponsor and conference host of the Musculoskeletal New Ventures Conference for over two decades.
