Erin Heck· General Partner

Erin Heck has nearly 20 years of legal experience, working with founders and companies from startup through growth to exit. She has served as both in-house General Counsel and outside legal counsel in private practice, advising national and multinational clients on multi-million-dollar transactions. She holds an undergraduate degree from Northwestern College and a law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and also runs her own private practice law firm serving a limited number of corporate clients.

Jud Mackrill· Investor / Technology Infrastructure at Mammoth

Jud Mackrill works at Mammoth, where he built early technology infrastructure for automating workflows and communication with investors and portfolio companies, and focuses on modernizing independent wealth management and expanding access to private investing through the RIA channel. He previously worked at Orion starting in 2004, eventually serving as head of design and CMO, and in 2015 co-founded Mineral Interactive, which was sold to the Carson Group in 2018 where he became CMO until 2020. Before Mammoth, he was CEO of a nationwide wealth management firm serving physicians, which grew to $1.5 billion in assets under advisement before his exit, and he has been a partial owner or angel investor in more than 35 private companies. He holds a BA from Indiana University and completed Harvard Business School's PLD program, with further executive training at Wharton and Booth, and authored a book on financial strategies for physicians and dentists.
