Dr. Jay Yadav is an investment decision maker at Mammoth Research and a medical device entrepreneur focused on treatments for cardiovascular and neurological conditions. He founded CardioMEMS (heart failure), Angioguard (stroke; acquired by Johnson & Johnson), and MiRus, and was the first investor and a director of SMART Therapeutics. He has extensive experience navigating FDA and CMS regulatory and reimbursement pathways, has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications, 2 books, and more than 40 patents, and currently serves as CEO of MiRus, LLC.

Jud Mackrill works at Mammoth, where he built early technology infrastructure for automating workflows and communication with investors and portfolio companies, and focuses on modernizing independent wealth management and expanding access to private investing through the RIA channel. He previously worked at Orion starting in 2004, eventually serving as head of design and CMO, and in 2015 co-founded Mineral Interactive, which was sold to the Carson Group in 2018 where he became CMO until 2020. He holds a BA from Grace University in Omaha and an MA from Dallas Theological Seminary, and currently also serves as CEO of Milemarker and a private equity advisor.

Serves as the organizational integrator at Mammoth, focused on aligning the interests of the investment adviser, fund manager, investors, and portfolio company founders.

Dr. Matthew McGirt is a founder and analyst at Mammoth, focusing on medical devices, healthcare software analytics, and radiologic and pharmaceutical surgical adjuncts. For over a decade he has consulted with government (CMS) and commercial healthcare payers and Fortune 100 healthcare companies, helping private companies build clinical evidence, obtain FDA approval, and connect with public buyers. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University (BS), attended medical school at Duke, completed residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and practices as a board-certified neurosurgeon in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Tommy Martin works with portfolio company founders, Mammoth's Fund Members, and its executive team, drawing on connections across the American medical community and experience advising doctors, hospital executives, and medical technology founders. Before Mammoth, he was CEO of a nationwide wealth management firm serving physicians, which grew to $1.5 billion in assets under advisement before his exit, and he has been a partial owner or angel investor in more than 35 private companies. He holds a BA from Indiana University and completed Harvard Business School's PLD program, with further executive training at Wharton and Booth, and authored a book on financial strategies for physicians and dentists.

Leads investor relations, portfolio due diligence, and business development, supporting Mammoth's executive team and investment professionals.

Jessi Robbins is one of Mammoth's Investor Relations leads, supporting investors, advisors, partners, and the executive team. She has a background in project management, team building, strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management, having started in B2B marketing before moving into customer-facing project management roles. She earned a BA summa cum laude from Taylor University in Indiana, where she played on the women's volleyball team.
